Julia Kowalska is a graduate of the General School of Fine Arts. Józef Brandt in Radom. She obtained a diploma in artistic ceramics in 2017 under the supervision of Aleksandra Dobrowolska. Currently, she is a painting student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
Artist has received many awards, including: Grand Prix in the 7th National Art Competition “Exlibris, an ancient element in the work of Jacek Malczewski” (2015); Award of the Director of the Department of Town Planning and Conservation in Zamość (2015); honorable mention in the National Art Competition “Variations on the Art of Ignacy Witkiewicz” (2015); Award of the President of the City of Radom in the personality category for outstanding artistic achievements (2015); 1st place in the National Art Competition “Towards Fantasy and Imagination” dedicated to Zdzisław Beksiński (2016).
